Daze
Daze is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and prevents the target from using skills for a period of time.

Invulnerability
Invulnerability is an effect that prevents the target from taking damage or receiving conditions. It is automatically placed on many boss monsters during cutscenes. It is also placed on rallied players for one second.

Knockback
Knockback is an effect caused by some skills which physically pushes foes away from the player and interrupts them.

Knockdown
Knockdown is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and causes the foe to be unable to move or use skills for a short duration. Knocked down foes fall to the ground.

Launch
Launch is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and tosses a character into the air.

Rejuvenation
Rejuvenation is an effect that regenerates health. This effect is exclusive to the guardian profession through the Virtue of Resolve.

Smiting
Smiting is an effect that makes every fifth attack cause burning. This effect is exclusive to the guardian profession through the Virtue of Justice.

Stability
Stability renders target immune to Knockback, Knockdown and Launch for a limited time.

Stealth
Stealth is an effect which allows the user to be invisible to enemy players and avoid being spotted by enemy NPCs. To friendly characters a character with stealth on is visible as a transparent outline. In PvE, a foe will stop attacking a target if that target uses stealth.

Stealth is broken when the user attacks, but some stealth is also broken if the user moves. As of GamesCom 2011, damaging the stealthed character no longer reveals them. Stealing does not break stealth.

Stealth can be used in combat. It does not last indefinitely.

Stun
Stun is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts, immobilizes, and incapacitates foes for a short duration. Stun is shown as swirling white lines and dots around the head.
