So here's the idea...
Players in oceania generally have a hard time finding communities from their own region. They often settle for being absorbed into international communities, usually with time zones that are difficult to play with. What I propose is to spread the word about an oceania network. We all find out who's active, and create a list in our own forums. You can check the lists of everyone on your own list, and see if there are any new entries to add to your own list. The more you contribute to your list, the more you help others update their own lists, and the effect multiplies. If you like the idea, spread the word. I offer this thread and bbcode as a starter hub to get the ball rolling!
If you want to use my list above as a template for your own, copy and past this bbcode code into a forum thread...

You can make links by filling in the relevent information here...
[url=Link goes here]Name of link goes here[/url]
The point system and color codes work like this...
Link = 1 point
Forum = 1 point
Networked = 1 point
3 points = Gold icon
2 points = Silver icon
1 point = Bronze icon
0 points = Black icon
Not sure = White icon
To be a member of the network, you need to be primarily oceanic. Eg - An American alliance that accepts oceanic players doesn't count. If they have a section devoted to oceania, only that section counts. This is designed to avoid non-oceanic groups from using false advertising to syphon oceanic players. If possible, members of the network should allow guests to post on their network page. This way, if a foreign website is misusing the network under false pretenses to advertise and syphon players, any one of us can let the others know in seconds, without having to sign up to their website. If you can't be bothered doing any of it yourself, you can update your list every now and then very easily, by coming here and copying my own bbcode above. Let me know about you, and I'll add you to the network!
Your entry in the list is defined as such...
Rank: Your score in the points system, to show how contactable you are.
Name: The name or nickname you refer to yourself as.
Guild: The name or your guild, along with any relevent sub guilds.
Link: The main link of any oceanic oriented websites you have. Examples of this are your guild's entry in Wiki or your Guild/community website's homepage.
Forum: A link to your forum, if you have one.
Networked: A link to your own copy of the oceania network, if you have one.
