Invoke Offensive - Keep your [Air Attunement] up at all times. Before battle, precast [arcane echo], and use it on [invoke lightning] before they get a chance to strip it. Your combo should go like this - [arcane echo][invoke lightning][invoke lightning][chain lightning][lightning orb][invoke lightning][invoke lightning][chain lightning][lightning orb]. After that, you will lose your arcane echo, and are free to use [glyph of lesser energy] and [gale] as needed. As soon as you get [arcane echo] back, do your double [invoke lightning] combo again. The damage is brutal and will take down practically anything in no time. Don't hold back when using this build, play offensively. Watch out for [spirit bond] and [protective spirit], change your target if that happens and the opposing Monks will have wasted their expensive prots.
Invoke Defensive - Keep your [Air Attunement] [stone striker] and [mantra of earth] up at all times. Before battle, precast [arcane echo], and use it on [invoke lightning] before they get a chance to strip it. Your combo should go like this - [arcane echo][invoke lightning][invoke lightning][chain lightning][lightning orb][invoke lightning][invoke lightning][chain lightning][lightning orb]. After that, you will lose your arcane echo. As soon as you get [arcane echo] back, do your double [invoke lightning] combo again. Use [stone striker] as a cover for [air attunement]. Notice that the combination of [stone striker] and [mantra of earth] mean that all physical and elemental damage you take is greatly reduced and gives you 2 energy per hit. Also note that [stone striker] converts your own damage to earth damage. This means that your damage will bypass the defences of teams that bring bonus armor vs lightning damage. A little trick you can do is compare the damage on a target with and without [stone striker], to change your damage between lightning and earth. This will prove whether they are using lightning or earth armor bonuses, and you can adjust your damage type to compensate. The damage is brutal and will take down practically anything in no time. Don't hold back when using this build, play offensively.

Lemming Fire - Cast [fire attunement] then [glyph of sacrifice] before you get into range. When you find the right target, do your combo in this order - [meteor shower] + [death's charge] + [bed of coals] + [phoenix] + [inferno]. You need to throw in [assassin's promise] before your target is dead, but the precise time you do that depends on how your combo goes. If your target is getting healed back to full, cast it late, or not at all. If your target gets trapped in it all and looks like he is going to die, cast [assassin's promise] before he dies. It takes practice knowing when to cast [assassin's promise]. If you're unsure, fit it between [bed of coals] and [phoenix]. Once you do a successful combo, all your skills are recharged and you can repeat the combo. This build is good for practicing speed and targetting.
