Profession - Monk Empty

Default Monk - Explanation not done yet

Divinus Tutela - Explanation not done yet

Blahks - Explanation not done yet

Smiter - Explanation not done yet

Glim Reaper - This is a fast casting healer. Use [glimmer of light] as your antispike, [healing breeze] as a pre-prot and a set and forget heal, [supportive spirit] on both monks as a pre-prot if the enemy is using knockdown. Use [remove hex] to remove important hexes in-between heals. Don't be scared of getting close to your opponent to trigger [channeling]. It can be combined with [divine spirit] for massive energy gain. When in [divine spirit] mode, be sure you're close to your opponent to get the most ouf of [channeling], and spam your 1/4 cast time spells [glimmer of light][patient spirit][vigorous spirit] to get all your energy back to maximum in seconds. When antispiking, there are 2 ways to do it. Due to the hidden 0.75 second aftercast delay to all spells, you will get the fastest heals by casting glimmer twice in a row. [glimmer of light] + [glimmer of light] will trigger in 1.25 seconds. [glimmer of light] + [patient spirit] + [glimmer of light] will put a 0.5 second aftercast delay inbetween your 2 [glimmer of light]s. For a quarter of a second, you will have a weaker heal. It's not much, but during a good spike, it can mean the difference between a save and a death. Play around with the two combos and recognize the timing difference. [glimmer of light] + [glimmer of light] vs [glimmer of light] + [patient spirit] + [glimmer of light]. Knowing when to go into [divine spirit] mode is key. You can cast it on recharge, or save it until you need to do a big heal spam at low energy. Casting [divine spirit] it on recharge can lead you into wasting a lot of free energy at a critical moment, finding yourself drained later when you need it. Do not let your energy get below 10 without casting divine spirit, and make sure you have a fresh [channeling] on first. [divine spirit] requires good decision making to use correctly. You can even use it in your high energy weapon set, then switch back to your main weapon set to get your energy back to full before [divine spirit] ends. This build is strong vs interrupts. Be careful not to get your [glimmer of light] caught by [diversion].

Resillient Boon Prot - Not only do you need to use [divine spirit] mode properly, there are many other uncommon mechanics involved with running this build. As a Boon Prot, you need to know how to conserve energy and prioritise heals much more than other builds. Keep [divine boon] on always, and be sure to immediately re-cast it if it gets stripped. If you don't pay attention to this, your heals will be crap and everyone will die fast. With [divine boon] on, [draw conditions] and [reversal of fortune] make what I call the best anti-spike in the game. Try doing them in that order, on a deep wounded target with many conditions and low HP, and you will see why I call it that. Before the recent nerf of [draw conditions], you could alternate [draw conditions] and [reversal of fortune] back and forth all day as you need. That loop is now nerfed, but the build is still powerful. [Draw conditions] and tanking hexes will feed your [melandrus resilience] to turn you into a heal powerhouse. This build is very strong against teams like [fragility] spike. There is a trick you can do with this build while in [divine spirit] mode. Wait until you have 10 energy, then use [divine spirit]. Spam your 1/4 cast time heals and notice that the -1 penalty from [divine boon] is negated, because it cannot take your energy below 0. By the time [divine spirit] mode ends, you will have completed a great deal of power heals, and [melandrus resilience] will have helped you regain a great deal of energy in the process. With a Boon Prot, there is a neccessary skill and technique that almost noone knows about these days. It involves [signet of devotion]. Whenever you cast a spell, especially [reversal of fortune], follow it up with signet of devotion. If the target doesn't need a heal by the time its almost cast, tap forward to cancel it and recast it again immediately. I call this a cancel/cast. By doing this, you can get a lot of free heals in and conserve a great deal of energy. And due to [signet of devotion] being a signet, there is no aftercast delay. Try doing [reversal of fortune] + [signet of devotion] + [reversal of fortune], and notice how fast the second [reversal of fortune] heals after [signet of devotion]. The after effect of triggering [reversal of fortune] further cuts down the heal time delay while casting [signet of devotion]. Most players consider signet of devotion as being crap, but they simply dont understand it and the mechanics involved. You can even use [signet of devotion] to pull interrupts and avoid them via cancel/cast. This build is strong vs interrupts, and anti-Monk builds like [migraine] make it stronger. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

Life Sheath Prot - Explanation not done yet

Short Controlled Burst - The first thing most players will notice is the lack of [infuse health], and ask why two Healers instead of a Healer and a Prot? The answer is simple, it works better. People will blindly claim otherwise, but don't listen to them, they have no idea what they're talking about and they're only parroting what someone else told them. People almost always die from a lack of heals, not from a lack of prots or antispike. Single target spike teams are uncommon and weak anyway, and take a long time to spike out your team even if they get their spikes through. AOE spikes like [Invoke Lightning] are what you should be worried about, and having a Monk that can afford to use [healing burst] on recharge is vital. If you cannot antispike without [infuse health], then you're just not paying enough attention. Practice your antispike reaction times so that you don't have to think about what you're doing before you antispike. Doing so will reduce your reaction times by at least half a second. Other monks blow all their energy on [infuse health] and utility skills. Leave the condition removal up to someone else, its a healers primary job to keep everyone alive. Keeping everyone clean is secondary to that. A [Life sheath] prot is all you need for condition removals anyway. A good powerful heal combo is [healing burst][patient spirit][dwaynas kiss][healing burst]. Follow up any heals with [signet of rejuvenation] or [signet of devotion] wherever possible. As they are signets, they have no aftercast delay, and hence allow you to lead into your next [healing burst] faster. You should never run out of energy with this build. When you go into [divine spirit] mode, spam all your energy spells as fast as you can. Remember that [deny hexes] can remove multiple hexes at one time. Make sure that [divine spirit][heavens delight] and [signet of devotion] are in recharge to make the most of [deny hexes]. With this build, even the harshest energy denial builds cannot stop you from healing. Keep your eye out in case someone uses [primal echoes].[build prof][/build]
